This is what happens when a trucker doesn't read the street signs

This is What Happens When Truckers don't Read

This is very common in the Northeast United States were the infrastructure is older and wasn't designed for today's modern freight industry.  A 40' High-cube (9'6" tall) was on a trailer and the trucker did not see the posted height clearance.  High-cubes are the tallest containers used by the shipping industry, they are one foot taller in height than the standard units.  This is usually not a problem in the South and West were the infrastructure was built later with these taller loads in mind.

  1. The shipping container now measures 40' at the bottom and 39' at the top.
