This is very common in the Northeast United States were the infrastructure is older and wasn't designed for today's modern freight industry. A 40' High-cube (9'6" tall) was on a trailer and the trucker did not see the posted height clearance. High-cubes are the tallest containers used by the shipping industry, they are one foot taller in height than the standard units. This is usually not a problem in the South and West were the infrastructure was built later with these taller loads in mind.
